FIRST CONGREGATIONAL BOOK DISCUSSION

A Book discussion program is being offered at the First Congregational Church in North Adams.  The discussions are once a month and the next discussion will be held on Sunday, February 18th around 11:15am or shortly after that.  The discussion usually ends shortly after noon.

The book for February is “Witness: Lessons From Elie Wiesel’s Classroom” by Ariel Burger.  A group of people are using this book to help them examine what’s going on in the world – like the Hamas/Israeli war – from a faith perspective and from what he learned in life.  The book invites all readers to become students of Wiesel and learn how he, in his life (as the only child in his family who survived the holocaust), approached human suffering.  The book (paperback) is available on Amazon or through Kindle or Audible.
